Thanks to Relativity Media, the boyz and I were invited to a free screening of the Judy Moody movie earlier this month. The timing was perfect, as Eldest was actually doing a book project on one of the Stink books (Judy Moody's younger brother) and was required to dress up as Stink for his presentation. I was nervous that my boyz wouldn't necessarily want to see this movie because they would consider it a "girl movie". But thankfully, that wasn't the case at all! Silly mommy. And while Eldest DID express some reservations, I told him he needed to go, as research for his project, of course. He bought it.
Now, normally I fall asleep during kids' movies. It's a fact. See: the second Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie; all of the Ice Age movies; and ESPECIALLY Shrek films.
This one? I was awake the entire feature. That says a lot.
So two thumbs up and a finger snap from me and all my boyz in the Trenches for Judy Moody!
And even better than watching the movie? Reading the book, of course!The boyz and I were treated to free movie passes and goody bags with Judy Moody paraphernalia (mood rings!). Opinions expressed, as always, are my own.
