My 6 and 7 year olds are huDge Star Wars fans. So we were psyched to receive a package in the Trenches containing some GUMbrand goodies.
We have a strict brushing routine in our Trenches. Toothbrushing is done immediately after breakfast (but before putting on school clothes lest they get spittle on them) and immediately before bedtime. In both instances, a 2-minute timer is set. Flossing and mouthwashing is also done. My boyz don't even think about it anymore because it has become a routine.
Every once in a while though, I do a random breath check. I like to keep them on their toes and not allow them to slack with their toothbrushing!
