A Fun Morning at Panera Bread

Getting to spend some alone time with each of my boyz is rare.  So when Mommy Niri invited me and one child to a Panera Bread blogger event in Newton, MA on a Saturday morning, I was actually kind of excited to have a morning out with just my Middle!
Trust me, I am no stranger to Panera Bread.  I eat there at least once a week.  Pre-diet, it was french onion soup in a bread bowl, and yes, I would eat the entire bowl; but now, it's usually a delicious thai chopped chicken salad (it definitely has a little spicy kick). We were treated to some artisan bread samples paired with dipping oils and we learned about the nutrition and attention given in the Panera bakeries.  We got to hear about the Day-End Dough-Nation program (great name!) and other charitable events that Panera participates in.

And then it was time to bake our very own loaves of French baguettes!

And decorate Easter cookies (He wanted to make one for each brother.)
This was Panera's first event in the Boston market, and without a doubt, it was a success!  Thank you to Mommy Niri and Panera for letting Middle and me spend a morning with you.
